HIAB DRIVER – ST ALBANS AREA

Join Our Team! | Ashvale Haulage – Part of M O’Brien Group

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HIAB Driver to join our team, covering the St Albans area.

If you take pride in your work, have a strong focus on safety and enjoy working in a fast-paced transport environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a HIAB vehicle for deliveries and collections.

  • Load and unload materials using the vehicle-mounted crane.

  • Ensure all loads are secure and transported safely.

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

  • Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.

  • Deliver excellent customer service on site.

  • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.

  • Maintain a professional and reliable approach at all times.

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

  • Valid HIAB qualification and relevant experience.

  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  • Good knowledge of load security and safe lifting practices.

  • A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic.

  • Previous experience in construction, aggregates or building materials delivery would be advantageous.
